You agree to take full responsibility for safely securing any and all furniture you purchase from Sweet Elle Fabrics & Furniture LLC DBA The Beautiful Bed Company. This includes anchoring furniture pieces to the wall to avoid any possibility of them toppling.
ONLINE ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
To simplify shopping and ordering, we recommend that you create an account. This allows you to save and reuse your billing and shipping addresses, view and track your orders, and create a wishlist. All information is securely stored on our servers and we never share our customer’s personal information with any third parties. Once you have created an online account, you may login here.
To qualify for our trade pricing, accounts must have a valid resale certificate for interior design or related enterprise
Trade pricing is not applicable to Mattresses, Hardware, Upgrade to High Gloss Lacquer and Shipping fees.
The Beautiful Bed Company accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. All payments are processed via our secure payment gateway, Shopify Payments or Authorize.Net, at the time your order is placed. The charge will appear from "Sweet Elle Handmade Furniture," which is our parent company.
For all orders, payment is due in full at the time of order. This is also specified on the Credit Card Authorization form that will be sent to you as we confirm and process your order.
We charge 10.5% sales tax on any order which is shipped within the state of California.
PRICING & INFORMATION DISCLAIMER
We aim to provide accuracy in all prices, delivery rates and other information. All prices online are in U.S. dollars and are subject to any applicable taxes according to state and local laws. Availability, prices and delivery rates are subject to change. There may be errors in the prices, descriptions or images of certain merchandise, and we reserve the right to restrict orders of those items and correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions.

Will Call is available by appointment. You can send a blanket wrap freight company to inspect and collect your pieces, or we can offer a full crating service for third party freight collection. Collection is from our manufacturing facility in Gardena, CA.
Oversize and heavy items will be fully crated and delivered to a Receiving Warehouse with a loading dock. Signature is required for delivery. Expedited delivery options are available and will be quoted on a per delivery basis.
WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY
Oversize and heavy items will ship via White Glove Delivery to a residential address. This fee will be quoted based on delivery location. The fee will include unwrapping, placement in room of chalice and assembly. Please advise if a COI is required at time of order placement. Signature is required.
ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME
The Beautiful Bed Company makes every effort to provide the most accurate delivery dates and lead times; however the Buyer understands that these are estimates only and are subject to change. Please contact us for our current lead time. The Beautiful Bed Company cannot be held liable for loss or damage due to delay regardless of the reason for the delay. The Beautiful Bed Company works very hard to fulfill our commitments on delivery dates; however, unforeseen problems may arise.
Wooden finish samples of The Beautiful Bed Company standard paint or stain finishes are available to help you decide on a color choice. Order up to 3 different wood finish samples for $14 here. Finish samples ship for a flat rate of $9.99 and will arrive via USP or USPS delivery.
Many of the products found on The Beautiful Bed Company are able to be customized. For furniture we craft ourselves, you may request a custom color that can be specified when placing your order. For upholstered items, you may also provide your own material (COM/Customer's Own Material). It is advisable to contact us to confirm yardage required for your specific fabric width and fabric type prior to sending it to us. Please fill out the Customization Request Form for your custom order.
CANCELING AN ORDER
Custom-made furniture is non-cancelable, non-returnable, non-refundable with the exception of manufacturer's defects or damages. Custom-made furniture includes The Beautiful Bed Company furniture where you are required to select a Finish Color or COM. Customers will have 24 hours from placement of custom orders to cancel. After 24 hours, a 50% deposit will be retained by The Beautiful Bed Company and cannot be refunded. All prices in our printed mailings and online store are in US dollars.
Made to Order Furniture: The majority of our products are made-to-order and for that reason we cannot accept returns. These pieces are non-cancelable, non-returnable and non-refundable, with the exception of manufacturer defects or damages. Damaged merchandise will be replaced with identical merchandise where possible. We carefully inspect each item prior to shipment and also require your inspection and signature upon delivery. Furniture that is refused because it does not fit through entry way will be refunded minus a 30% restocking fee. Items purchased with trade discounts may not be returned.
Non-Furniture Items: The Beautiful Bed Company fabric by the yard is cut to order. For that reason we cannot accept returns. Paint is non-returnable and non-refundable, with the exception of manufacturer defects or damages. Knobs and pulls are able to be returned within 14 days. Please contact us to request a Return Authorization (RA), and your card will be credited when we receive them back. Shipping fees are non-refundable, credit card processing fees are non refundable and the cost of return shipping is your responsibility.
The Beautiful Bed Company has developed a very thorough level of quality control which includes inspections at every point of production and packaging. Nevertheless, problems do occur. For White Glove and B2B Deliveries: Upon receiving the shipment, please inspect the delivery thoroughly. If there is minor damage to paint work, then the freight company reserves the right to repair rather than replace the item. Our preference is always to repair inside the customers’ home as this limits the piece going back into the transportation system. If the damage is more severe and is structural, please refuse the delivery. Please document the damages with photographs and notate all damage on the delivery paperwork. Please contact us within 24 hours and we will initiate a claim with the shipping company, to repair as new or replace any severely damaged merchandise. If the damage is not identified by you or your Receivers at the time of delivery then all claims are null and void. For our Design Trade Partners, all furniture is shipped “Free On Board,” which means as the pieces leave our factory ownership transfers to our Trade Partner. Shipping fees and any contractual obligations are managed directly with the Delivery Company and the Trade Partner.
For Light Items: Light items are boxed and shipped via FedEx or UPS freight delivery. We carefully inspect all our products prior to shipment, but damages do sometimes occur while in transit. You may not be present when the package is dropped off, but if you notice any damage after opening the box, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. For us to submit a claim to the shipping company and get a replacement item for you, it is essential that you provide us with photos of the damage as well as photos of the shipping box. All original shipping materials must be retained for us to either credit you back or replace the item.
GUARANTEE OF QUALITY
The Beautiful Bed Company Collection Furniture is artisan made by hand, in southern California. We are proud to use the term, Hand Crafted in the USA. Each piece is solid wood and crafted using traditional mortise and tenon joinery. Hand finished pieces and wood characteristics will vary, knots, cracks and variations in the wood are seen as the character of the piece and are not defects in any way. We carefully inspect each item prior to shipment and also require your inspection and signature upon delivery. However, if you discover a defect in your furniture, please contact us prior to signing acceptance of delivery. The Beautiful Bed Company's furniture and upholstery pieces conform to samples display on the website. Measurements are an approximation, with +/- 2 ins and photographs are considered a representation of the merchandise and may not be an accurate representation of the color. The Beautiful Bed Company cannot guarantee the grain and texture of wood and painted surfaces, the natural patinas of wood, the dye lot of fabrics, or the finished color on any other materials. Slight variations in size and color can be expected.
Due to environmental elements and relative humidity, real wood will sometimes expand and shrink. Occasionally, under certain temperature changes solid wood movement can lead to cracks appearing in the furniture piece. This is a rare occurrence. We will allow 6 months for customers to file a claim for the cracking of wood. Our lumber is kiln dried and cured properly, therefore environmental cracks should only appear in the first 6 months. Cracks can occur from winter heating and /or summer humidity. Solid wood furniture must be kept in a climate controlled environment. if you do not store your furniture correctly, you may experience issues. Be aware over a period of time wood furniture can crack if exposed to direct sunlight.
Sweet Elle Fabrics & Furniture LLC DBA The Beautiful Bed Company guarantees its product to be free from defects of workmanship. However, due to environmental elements and relative humidity, wood will sometimes expand or shrink causing cracks. Damage claims of this nature will be assessed on an individual basis, if they are received within 6 months of despatch from our Workshop. We cannot accept returns without a formal return authorization. Due to the nature of handcrafted products, details, dimensions and/or colors represented on a computer screen or in our catalogs may vary.
UPDATE ACCOUNT INFORMATION
After registering for an online account, you will be able to login to update your mailing and shipping addresses, change your email preferences and/or change your account password. Should you forget your account password, click on the "Forgot Your Password" link on the Login page and you will be sent an email to reset the password.
To view your orders, check tracking information or order notes, please login to your account. Note that for this information to be saved, you must be logged in when you place your order. Orders placed as a guest will not be available for online viewing.
HIGH GLOSS LACQUER PRICING
Our Upgrade to High Gloss Lacquer pricing is as follows:

When ordering this upgrade, we shall update your cart to reflect the appropriate pricing.
For most all our beds, we recommend a low profile 3 inch high foundation. This drops into the bed frame and cannot be seen. We also recommend a 12 inch high mattress. An exception: Our Beside the Seaside Bed has deep side rails, thus we recommend a 6 in. deep foundation.
For a King or Master Bedroom bed, we recommend our Luxury Master Bed Natural Mattress with our Latex Luxury Topper.
Twin beds and Daybeds ship with pine wood slats. Full to King sized beds ship with Glideaway Steel Bed Support. This system requires a boxspring or foundation.
